Environmental Awareness
Environmental Awareness
Environmental concerns are an ever-growing issue these days. From the ozone layer to the life of the oceans, to mining, and the care of the earth’s resources, and in just about every department of nature there is a need to question, and address and monitor the delicate ecological balance of nature with the demand for economy and human consumption and interaction with the environment.
Our Great Planet Earth
The Earth is our home—it’s our life-support system and without it we wouldn’t be here. We are created from the many different elements of matter—the nutrients the Earth supplies us with, the Sun’s vitality and warmth, the fresh Air we breathe, and clean Water we drink—the Earth needs to grow the food that fuels the multitude of different species of life here on Earth. The electromagnetic frequencies and vibrations of the subtle fields of matter, to the particles, atomic nuclei, and different elements that make up our body’s cells which make possible the beauty and intelligence of the human form, are all signs that without the environment we wouldn’t be here as a part of it, or with it destroyed we would be extinct long ago.
We Have the Power
It’s our job to look after it. It’s a simple equation, “life or permanent death.” Cycles come and go, the environmental hazards of nature are inevitable, however damage done by humans to the environment is what is within our control. The air we breathe, the water we need to quench our thirst, the warmth and food we need to survive and keep us alive are only beneficial if they are not polluted, or contaminated, or adulterated with chemicals and impurities that cause unhealthy living conditions and sickness and decay as a result.
Fortunately awareness is growing about the environment and the public is being educated on it. Most of us want or at least are aware that without environmental concerns, no matter what department of life whether at home, or work, or school, or leisure, there would be no such thing or chance as a clean and healthy space to live and breathe, or that is environmentally safe and sustainable.
Environmental awareness helps to solve problems related to disasters, natural and those caused by us. It helps address and find ways to maintain and keep our oceans, and forests, and cities, clean and sustainable, and organically alive and productive. Human excessive consumption and waste, overpopulation, chemical hazards, environment destruction and dangers caused from wars and natural disasters, and living in environments where excessive noise, and or foul smells and with clouds of dangerous life sucking billowing smoke and dust suck the life out of living—all require their solutions.
It’s amazing how humans pull together in a natural crisis. Everyone chips in, aid comes from far and wide and there’s a certain “we are all in this together” consciousness about it as a result of our human need to survive and our sense of compassion and caring.
In a biological sense it’s a natural part of our D.N.A and inbuilt chromosomes to do with the gene-environment interaction in cells that control our survival and subconscious responses and natural instincts.
Supporting an environmental concern that interests you is being a part of that community spirit and value it serves. Good things come out of situations where care, and concern, and help to make things better are given.
