RED PANDA — ONE OF NATURES JOYFUL GIFTS

Pandas are unique bear—so cuddly and cute, they have many fans around the world who admire their kind. The most common are the black and white giant pandas found mainly in China, however there is another one that is even though it’s part of the Panda family is not so well-known, and that’s the Red Panda.

International Red Panda day is an event that is held annually on the 15th of September for raising awareness and celebrating this unique species and wonderful animal, so that they can as part of nature have the right to go on living, and like all other species of life on Earth share their life and be a part of giving and playing their role as part of the evolving life chains of which are so important— not only for us but also the other animals and life species that we live with and are a part of on Earth.

The Red Panda sometimes called the red-bear-cat is a truly beautiful unique animal. Not large like their friends the Giant Panda, the Red Panda has lovely brown and white fur with some having a part black coat with their habitat being mostly in Nepal, and Myanmar, and Central China.

A bit like a mixture of cat and racoon because of its striped tail and a bear all rolled into one its commonly known for being a shy and solitary animal except when mating they can be seen mostly up and about at night times which is their preferred time to be awake.

They love living in mountainous regions and are often found in the foothills and forests where they love climbing trees and being herbivores feed on bamboo, roots, fruits, and other forest floor pickings.

These amazing and truly wonderful animals are protected and on the I.U.C.N endangered species list due to the unfortunate happenings of deforestation, poaching, and decay of ecosystems which they rely on so much for their survival.
